Earlier this week, while on a break at work a group of us got into a debate about different events in the bible.
As we spoke the conversation changed to the tower of babel and how everyone spoke the same language. At this everyone thought I was lying and asked me if this was really in the Bible. So of course I pulled up the chapter and showed them.
Going to church this morning they preached on the same subject. Coincidence? So the pastor talked about this:
In Genesis 11 the people Humanity tried to: Take His identity, move into His dwelling place m, share His glory, make our own plan. For this reason God changed the language and scattered the people across the world.
In Genesis 11:6 God says “If as one people speaking the same language have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them.
So he sperates us in Genesis. And in Acts he brings us back together allowing the disciples to hear understanding all languages and everyone understoon them in their own languages.
Why would he do this is he previously scattered our languages
Simply because the power is that the whole world hears the same language.
God DECIDED to:
Place His Identity within us
Make His Dwelling place among us.
Send His Glory to us
Fulfill His plan through us
So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth,<span class="crossreference" data-link="(O)” data-cr=”#cen-NIV-275O” style=”box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; position: relative; vertical-align: top; top: 0px;”> and they stopped building the city. That is why it was called Babel because there the Lordconfused the language<span class="crossreference" data-link="(Q)” data-cr=”#cen-NIV-276Q” style=”box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; position: relative; vertical-align: top; top: 0px;”> of the whole world.<span class="crossreference" data-link="(R)” data-cr=”#cen-NIV-276R” style=”box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; position: relative; vertical-align: top; top: 0px;”> From there the Lord scattered<span class="crossreference" data-link="(S)” data-cr=”#cen-NIV-276S” style=”box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; position: relative; vertical-align: top; top: 0px;”>them over the face of the whole earth.
I know that it has been a while since I posted. I haven’t forgotten about the blog its just I have been really busy lately. When I am not busy working I am usually to tired to do anything else. Working 15-16 hours days where one has to stand all day, does that to people.
Anyway I have come here to talk about dreams. No matter how big or small that may seem they can come true. All you have to do is set goals and work towards it.
I have been having a very rough time lately. I get in these moods where I just want to curl up in a corner and cry for no reason at all. A couple days ago this “mood” was really bad. It was got so bad that I didn’t want anything to do with anything. I even told someone, who was trying to help me and remind me that I was working towards my plans and dreams, that they were all dreams and that dreams don’t come true…..
But I know for a fact that dreams can come true. Because for as long as I can remember I have had three major dreams;
One was to join the military, I did that. I have been in the U.S Navy for over two years now. And though it is rough at times I don’t regret it at all.
Two was to cook, I do that. I am a culinary specialist(CS) in the Navy and I have learned a lot here.
Three was to be able to fly. Well I am still working on that one… But I have a plan that will work if I stick to it…
Dreams do come true. Whatever you want do, whatever you plan to do remember that all you need to do is make your goals, map your plan and stick to it no matter what. Life will through you lemons but if you but them you will see how sour they are and you will stray from you path.

I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and A happy New has Year.
Can you believe it’s already almost 2015 where did 2014 go?
Hi everyone. I just want to say a few thing that have been on my mind lately.
First of all I want to clarify that by holiday season I mean the whole time between, right after holloween and all the way to after New Years.
When I was growing up this time of year was always my favorite. I loved it when all the family was together eating and having fun.
I loved Christmas, listening to the music and seeing family and all that stuff.
But now this time of year if really hard. Not being able to see family.
I just wanted to tell everyone to remember the Crhistmas song: “I’ll be home for Chrstmas”
“I’ll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams”
Wow it has been a long time since I last posted. But I need to rant and facebook post just doesnt do.
Yes this rant concerns the “new” facebook messenger app.
First of all this app is not neww. It has been available fir download since 2011 and I have been using it since it was new.
So most peoples concerm are the permissions that it asks for.
When downloading this app on an Android device (I dont know how apples are so I cant help there) a list of permissions are asked for access to:
1. Identity: this app needs your “identity” it means your facebook profile.
2. Contacts/ Calender: for events, it adds birthdays and stuff like that to your phones calender. Also see SMS.
3. Location: this app has the ability to find you location and put it on you messages telling those you are messaging where it was sent fomr. This can easily be turned on or off.
4. SMS: This app can actually be used as your “main” texting app so you can send text from there just like the built in app on your phone. This can also not be turned in so you don’t have to use it.
5. Phone: Same as SMS
6. Photos/ Media/ Files: you can take pitures from this app. If it couldn’t access these ten your pictures wouldnt be save and you would lose then.
7. Camera/ Microphone: so you can take pictures, video, or voice calls.
8. Wifi: This is an internet based app and must be connected to use it.
9. Device ID and Calk info: See SMS and Phone.
10. Other is for badges.
Now that are planning on getting rid of Facebook because they think they have to download”l app r they wont be able to send messages through Facebook. But this is a myth. You will still be ablr to use messages normal on the website either mobile or on a computer.
Now before you continue to plan on getting rid of just facebook think on this a little. How long have you had facebook? Did you know that the permissions on Facebook app are the exact same as in the messenger app.
Now how long have yoy had a smartphone one with a camera, one that uses apps. Because EVERY SINGLE APP asks for permissions of some kind or another. Any apo that you cant take pictures with will ask for the use of your camera, And any that have videos will ask for camera and microphone l.
Facebook Messenger does NOT and can not turn on your camera with out you making it.
Now if you are still worried about it doing the rumors that went around and atill want to get rid of it then go ahead who am I to stop you. Just while you are at it get rid of:
Facebook, Skype, Facetime, every single Google app. In fact get rid of yiur phone and any other camera yiu kight have that can be access through any kind of wifi or data plan because EVERY SINGLE ONE can be hacked and be used by other people. Even your security cameras at home… Just saying.
After a bunch of tests the cardiologist that I saw today said that there is nothing wrong with my heart.
So the question is where are these pains coming from and why does it hurt so much?
I still don’t have an aswer to that.
